ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

• Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical layouts to diagnose equipment problems.
• Inspects supporting electrical equipment such as brackets and hangers, making repairs when necessary.
• Operate and maintain transmission and reception equipment.
• Install electrical wiring through conduits and holes in both the floor and walls.
• Determines appropriate methods, equipment and materials to complete cost repairs within budget.
• Inform supervisor immediately of equipment problems and malfunctions.
• Tested wiring and other system parts for electrical flow and function.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to verify proper working condition of electrical panels and conduits.

COMPENTENCIES/SKILL

• Electrical installation, maintenance, basic troubleshooting, safety compliance.
• Knowledge of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
• Proficiency in working with various voltage levels, current flow, and the implications for electrical systems.
• Understanding of electrical circuits, systems, and components such as transformers, generators, motors, and wiring.

QUALIFICATION

• Minimum SPM or SKM in Electrical Installation or Certificate of Polytechnic/IKM/IKBN/ILP & etc with PW2.
• 1–3 years relevant experience.
