SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR JOB DESCRIPTION

1) Responsible for all QS and contractual matters related to the execution and management of

the construction contract (Pre & Post) including tender, estimation, progress claims, variation

orders and final accounts.

2) As key person to liaise with contractors and consultants, sourcing and calling for quotation for

comparison purpose.

3) Responsible for collecting, filtering, reviewing, evaluating, transmitting, archiving and tracking

project information.

4) To review specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and contractual

requirements.

5) Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing and resolving contract related

communications, disputes, and claims with financial implications with contractors and suppliers.

6) To prepare cost study for every trade involved in the contract.

7) Monitor budgets, costs, and cash flow projections, and provide updates to management

.

8) Implement cost-control measures to mitigate financial risks and ensure project profitability.

9) Responsible to ensure the Letter of Award is prepared for the sub-contractors.

10) Preparation of progress claims to be approved by Management and follow up on certification

and payment status.

11) Preparation of variation orders quotation and settlement of final account.

12) Work closely with the project managers, site team, consultants and contractors. Attend site

valuation, site measurement and regular meetings when necessary.

13) Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Management.Assisting Project

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
