Retail Assistant cum Cashier – Baking Ingredients Store

Jom Bake Trading Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a friendly, responsible and hardworking Retail Assistant cum Cashier to join our team in Silibin, Ipoh.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Assist customers in finding suitable baking ingredients, tools and packaging.
• Operate the cashier and POS system accurately.
• Receive, arrange, replenish and display products.
• Check product prices, expiry dates and stock conditions.
• Assist with stock counting, repacking and labelling when required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, shelves and storeroom.
• Support promotional activities, product sampling and simple social media content when needed.
• Perform other reasonable retail duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Malaysian citizen, aged 18 years and above.
• Friendly, honest, punctual and responsible.
• Able to communicate well with customers and team members.
• Willing to learn about baking ingredients and products.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic cashier, retail or customer-service experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge or interest in baking is an advantage, but training will be provided.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays according to the duty roster.
• Basic ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia; English or Mandarin is an added advantage.
