Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Agriculture, Food Science, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline)

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance & Control:

- Ensure the overall quality of fig fruits and related products.

- Conduct inspections and tests to assess and maintain product quality.

- Implement quality control procedures and measures.

- Monitor and analyze data related to production rates, tree and fruit quality rates, rejection rates, and productive tree rates.

- Take corrective actions to improve quality and minimize defects.

2. Data Management:

- Manage and analyze data related to production rates, tree and fruit quality rates, rejection rates, and productive tree rates.

- Update and maintain MyGap data to comply with certification requirements.

3. Internal Audits and Risk Management:

- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.

- Coordinate risk management activities and serve as a risk coordinator.

- Update the risk management system with relevant information.

4. Disease Management:

- Implement disease prevention and control measures to protect fig plants from common diseases.

- Monitor and diagnose plant diseases, and apply appropriate treatment and prevention methods.

- Collaborate with agricultural experts to implement disease management strategies.

5. Worker Management and Administrative Tasks:

- Manage workers, including monitoring attendance, providing training, managing overtime, and handling payroll.

- Assist in managing foreign permits for workers.

- Handle administrative tasks such as petty cash claims and documentation.

6. Sales Monitoring and Customer Management:

- Monitor online and walk-in sales transactions.

- Report sales data to the finance department.

- Handle customer complaints, feedback, and inquiries.

- Create engaging content for social media platforms to promote fig-based products.

7. Research and Development (R&D):

- Contribute to R&D activities for fig-based products.

- Utilize the APQP method for R&D projects.

- Ensure each product has a specified shelf life, nutrition facts, and obtain halal certification.

8. Stock Monitoring and Asset Management:

- Monitor stock levels of fertilizers, pesticides, and company assets.

- Ensure proper stock replenishment and storage.

- Maintain accurate records of stock levels and usage.

9. Machine Maintenance Support:

- Assist in scheduling and coordinating machine maintenance activities.

- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure proper functioning of machines and equipment.

10. Product Production Support:

- Assist in the production of fig-based products such as fig jam, dried figs, paste figs, and fig tea.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules.

Experience:

Experience in the following items is an advantage:

Experience in quality assurance/control, data management, risk management disease management, worker management, administrative tasks, online sales monitoring, packaging, customer management, social media content creation, R&D, product testing, stock monitoring, and machine maintenance in the agricultural or food industry.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
