Job Responsibilities

• Planning & scheduling of preventive maintenance of plant equipment and facilities.
• Ensure all necessary tests, inspections, calibrations and regulations governed by the Laws of Malaysia are adhered to.
• Monitoring of machinery and equipment to enhance performance.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns & fine tune equipment accuracy to minimize downtime.
• Observe & alert to abnormal or dangerous operating conditions and make sound judgment within the established guidelines.
• Participate in projects, tenders & other ideas and designs to provide technical know-how & sound evaluation.
• Liaise with Store for spare parts purchasing and stock keeping.
• Generate maintenance reports on a monthly basis and ad-hoc basis.

Job Requirement

• Possess Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• At least 3 years relevant working experience in manufacturing/operation.
• Possess experience in a management role.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A team leader with strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in equipment repair & servicing is an added advantage.
• Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia both spoken and written is a must.
• Ability to converse in Mandarin/Hokkien is added advantage.

Office Location: Malihah Matang Kuching

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
