Job summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven QC Inspector to ensure all incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods comply with the Company's quality standards and customer specifications.

This role is responsible for performing inspections, quality testing, and product verification while working closely with Production, Warehouse, Fabrication, Powder Coating, and other departments to ensure consistent product quality and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.

What you will do:

1. Incoming & Finished Goods Inspection

• Perform inspections on raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods.
• Verify product dimensions, material specifications, and identification labels against engineering drawings.
• Conduct visual inspections and measurement checks to ensure products meet quality requirements.
• Approve or reject materials and products based on established quality standards.

2. Quality Testing & Verification

• Conduct mechanical testing, including impact tests, conical bending tests, and cross-cut tests for powder-coated products.
• Read and interpret basic 2D engineering drawings to support inspection activities.
• Ensure outsourced finished products comply with required specifications before acceptance.

3. Quality Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Monitor customer returned products and ensure rework activities are completed within the required timeline.
• Report quality issues, non-conformities, and inspection findings to the immediate superior.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on recurring quality issues.

4. Safety & Operational Support

• Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior.

What you need to have:

• Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret basic 2D engineering drawings.
• Familiar with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, measuring tape, and other inspection tools.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical testing methods is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Forms.
• Good attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
