We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Executive, Information Technology (IT) to be the primary IT support personnel at our Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) Gopeng. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all IT infrastructure, Warehouse Management System (WMS), hardware, network connectivity, and user support to enable efficient warehouse operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Management System (WMS)

• Serve as the first-level support for all Warehouse Management System (WMS) related issues.
• Monitor daily WMS performance to ensure uninterrupted warehouse operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve WMS transaction errors and operational issues.
• Coordinate with Group IT, software vendors, and system providers on issue resolution and enhancement requests.
• Support WMS upgrades, testing, implementation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Maintain system master data and user access where applicable.

IT Infrastructure & Hardware Support

• Maintain all IT equipment including:
• Desktop computers
• Laptops
• Printers & label printers
• Barcode scanners
• Mobile handheld terminals (PDA/RF Devices)
• Network devices
• CCTV (basic support)
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment health checks.
• Coordinate repair, replacement, and warranty claims with vendors.

Network & System Administration

• Monitor LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity across the Distribution Centre.
• Assist Group IT in maintaining server connectivity and network performance.
• Escalate major infrastructure issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Ensure business continuity by minimizing IT downtime.

User Support

• Provide daily technical support to warehouse users and office staff.
• Diagnose hardware, software, printer, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers and business applications.
• Conduct basic IT orientation and system training for new employees.

Technology & Digital Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse technology and operational efficiency.
• Support digitalization initiatives and IT-related projects.
• Assist in implementing new systems, devices, and automation technologies.

IT Governance & Security

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and software licensing requirements.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Perform routine backup verification and support disaster recovery activities.
• Protect company data by enforcing IT security best practices.

Vendor & Project Coordination

• Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Monitor service level agreements (SLA) and vendor performance.
• Support new warehouse start-up projects, system migration, and IT infrastructure deployment.

Requirements

A. Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

B. Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of IT support experience.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP, or inventory systems will be an added advantage.

Willing to work at Regional Distribution Center (RDC) Gopeng, Perak

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
