Job Description
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing samples, reagents, media, and laboratory solutions according to approved procedures.
- Receive, label, and organize incoming samples for testing.
- Clean, wash, and sterilize laboratory glassware, equipment, and work areas.
- Assist QC Analysts in conducting routine laboratory testing when required.
- Ensure laboratory equipment, instruments, and workstations are clean and ready for use.
- Record laboratory activities accurately and maintain proper documentation.
- Monitor laboratory inventory and notify the supervisor when consumables require replenishment.
- Dispose of laboratory waste in accordance with company SOPs and safety regulations.
- Assist in equipment calibration and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain proper filing of laboratory records, certificates, and test reports.
- Comply with GMP, GLP, ISO requirements, and all safety regulations.
- Support laboratory housekeeping and 5S implementation.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the QC Executive or QC Manager.
Job Requirements
Education
- Minimum Certificate or Diploma in:
- Chemistry
- Pharmaceutical Science
- Biotechnology
- Medical Laboratory Technology
- Applied Science
- Or related scientific discipline
Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical, food, healthcare, or laboratory environment is an added advantage.
Knowledge
- Basic understanding of laboratory practices.
- Basic knowledge of GMP and GLP.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment is an advantage.
Skills
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
