Job Scope

Procurement

• Source and evaluate suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality, and delivery.

Supplier Management

• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, quality, delivery, artwork, and quantity discrepancies.
• Assist in supplier performance evaluation and continuous improvement activities.

Inventory & Coordination

• Coordinate with Production Planning, Warehouse, QA, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure smooth procurement activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and arrange replenishment to prevent production shortages.
• Coordinate rejected materials, supplier claims, and replacement deliveries where necessary.

Documentation & System

• Register new suppliers and materials in the ERP system.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier database, quotations, contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Update supplier pricing and procurement records as required.
• Ensure timely submission of procurement documents for invoice matching and payment processing.

Others

• Support ISO documentation and internal audits.
• Participate in cost-saving initiatives and process improvement activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs) or Material Order Forms (MOFs).
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements :

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field with minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage
• Knowledge of import shipment procedures, shipping documentation, and coordination with freight forwarders will be an added advantage.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
