Overview

We are looking for a friendly, patient, and organized Veterinary Assistant to join our veterinary team. As the first point of contact for clients, you will play a key role in ensuring they feel welcome and supported.

This role involves managing front desk duties, assisting clients with purchases, dispense prescribed medication, and supporting the veterinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians during consultations and medical procedures
• Safely handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist during procedures
• Monitor hospitalized patients and report observations to the veterinarian
• Assist with diagnostic tests and laboratory preparation
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment areas, wards and equipment
• Prepare instruments and consumables for procedures
• Assist with basic grooming tasks such as bathing, drying and general animal hygiene care when required
• Register patients and update records in the clinic management system
• Support smooth workflow within the clinical team

Requirements

• Candidate with SPM / Diploma / Degree
• Comfortable working around animal.
• Good physical condition and free from any health issues
• Age below than 40 years old.
• Patient, approachable, and enjoys working with people.
• Candidates with hospitality or customer service training will have an advantage.
• Ability to assess and initiate things independently.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
