BioSolv Environmental Hiring! Part Time AVEVA Plant Scada Project Implementor in Sabah - Ricebowl

We are seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer / Systems Integrator specializing in AVEVA Plant SCADA (formerly Citect SCADA) to lead the integration and optimization of our wastewater treatment plant equipment.

This is a focused, 3-month part-time contract role. You will be responsible for connecting, configuring, and testing equipment integrations—including PLCs, pumps, sensors, and flow meters—to ensure seamless data logging, dynamic HMI visualization, and real-time plant monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• SCADA Development: Design, configure, and deploy HMI graphics, dynamic screens, alarms, and trend logs using AVEVA Plant SCADA.
• System Integration: Integrate plant equipment (pumps, blowers, chemical dosing systems, clarifiers, and instruments) with central PLCs and SCADA via standard protocols (Modbus, OPC UA/DA, Ethernet/IP).
• Testing & Commissioning: Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure error-free machine communication and fail-safe automation.
• Data Management: Set up historical data logging, reporting, and automated alarm notifications for system operators.
• Documentation: Provide clear technical documentation, network architecture diagrams, and a brief handover guide for maintenance personnel upon project completion.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Hands-on Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience working directly with AVEVA Plant SCADA (or Citect SCADA).
• Industry Experience: Direct experience with Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP), water distribution, or similar industrial fluid process automation is strongly preferred.
• Protocol Proficiency: Solid understanding of industrial communications protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA, Profinet, etc.).
• PLC Integration: Proven track record configuring SCADA driver connections to major PLC platforms (Schneider Electric, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
• Self-Directed: Ability to work independently, manage project milestones over a 3-month timeline, and troubleshoot communication bottlenecks on-site during commissioning.
