We are a growing RC and wet works subcontractor established in 2022, with projects across Klang Valley and other regions of Malaysia.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates experienced in Civil & Structural (C&S) construction projects, particularly in progress claims and tender measurement.

Enjoy the flexibility of working from home while attending site visits approximately twice a month for project coordination and measurement when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to Main Contractors.
• Carry out tender quantity take-off and measurement from construction drawings.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender submissions.
• Prepare Variation Orders (VO), subcontractor claims, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and project progress.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
• Perform other QS-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in Civil & Structural (C&S) works.
• Experience in progress claims, tendering, VO, and final accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (AutoCAD is an advantage).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Responsible, organized, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
