About the role

As an Area Manager at TSM Automobile Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple retail stores within a defined geographical area. This is a full-time position based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. You will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and profitability by ensuring the efficient management of our retail network.

What you'll be doing

1. Managing and leading a team of retail store managers to achieve sales, profitability and customer service targets

2. Developing and implementing strategies to improve store performance and customer experience

3. Conducting regular store visits to monitor operations, identify areas for improvement and provide support to the store teams

4. Analysing sales data, forecasting trends and making data-driven decisions to optimise store performance

5. Collaborating with the central operations team to ensure consistent brand standards and policies are implemented across the stores

6. Identifying and addressing any operational or staffing issues in a timely manner

7. Providing coaching, mentoring and training to store managers to develop their skills and leadership capabilities

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a retail management or multi-site operations role

2. Proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability in a retail environment

3. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions

5. Familiarity with retail operations, including inventory management, customer service and performance reporting

6. Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving retail industry
