Mega City Builder Hiring! Full Time Purchasing Executive in Sabah - Ricebowl

About the role

As a Purchasing Executive at Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, goods and services required for the company's construction projects. This full-time role is based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running and timely delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers to meet the company's procurement needs

2. Negotiating contracts and purchase orders with suppliers to obtain the best possible terms

3. Monitoring and managing supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services

4. Maintaining accurate records of all purchasing activities and expenditure

5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and secure the necessary materials and resources

6. Identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and implement cost-saving measures

7. Ensuring compliance with the company's purchasing policies and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the construction industry

2. Strong negotiation and contract management skills

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders

4. Proficient in data analysis and using procurement software

5. Knowledge of relevant purchasing regulations and best practices

6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

7. Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field

8. Able to communicate with clients in Mandarin
