Mega City Builder Hiring! Full Time Account Executive in Sabah - Ricebowl

About the role

Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our finance team in our Kota Kinabalu office. As an Account Executive, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and record-keeping for the company. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within the organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable

2. Preparing and submitting financial statements, reports, and other documentation in a timely manner

3. Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather financial information and resolve queries

4. Assisting with the month-end and year-end closing processes

5. Providing support for the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes

6. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of financial policies and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar financial accounting or reporting role, preferably within the construction or real estate industry

2. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulations

3. Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel

4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

6. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

7. Able to communicate with clients in Mandarin
