About the role:

SURIA DAN SONNE SDN BHD is seeking for a dynamic and results-oriented Solar Sales Executive to become a vital part of our team. The Solar Sales Executive will play a crucial role in lead generation, customer education on solar energy solutions, and closing sales for residential and small C&I clients. We are seeking an individual with a fervour for renewable energy, outstanding communication skills, and a demonstrated history of success in sales.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

• Identify and nurture leads through various avenues such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Employ lead generation tools and databases to construct a pipeline of qualified prospects.

Consultative Selling:

• Conduct thorough consultations with potential customers to comprehend their needs and objectives.
• Educate customers on the advantages of solar energy, including monthly bill savings, environmental impact, and energy independence.

Sales Presentations:

• Deliver compelling sales presentations showcasing the features and benefits of solar energy systems.
• Clearly articulate the financial benefits, return on investment, and available incentives to customers (NEM).

Negotiation and Closing:

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to secure sales agreements.
• Overcome objections and address concerns to facilitate a smooth closing process.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Establish and maintain robust relationships with customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Provide continuous support and assistance to customers, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

Market Research:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments.
• Identify opportunities for product differentiation and strategic market positioning.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least STPM, Certificate or Diploma in Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum with 1 year of experience in the sales field.
• Must possess own transportation and willing to travel.
• Computer-literate and familiar in Microsoft Office applications
• Proven track record of success in sales, ideally in the solar or renewable energy sector.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with customers.
• Proficient understanding of solar energy systems and installation processes.
• Capability to work independently and efficiently manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a determination to achieve and surpass sales targets.
