Job Title: Oracle EBS Finance Techno-Functional Analyst (Accounting & Finance Focus)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Techno-Functional Analyst with a strong background in Accounting and Finance business processes to support and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between Finance business users and Oracle technical teams, translating business requirements into functional solutions while supporting Oracle Financial applications.

This is a functional-first role, requiring solid Finance domain expertise along with sufficient Oracle EBS technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Finance business users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Support Oracle EBS R12 Financial modules, including configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical developers on customizations and integrations.
• Support implementation, testing (UAT), deployment, and post-production activities.
• Analyze and resolve production issues while performing root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with onsite and offshore technical teams for enhancements and support.
• Document business processes, solution designs, and system changes.
• Participate in month-end and year-end financial system support.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8+ years of experience with Oracle EBS Financials (R12/R12.2).
• Strong functional expertise in:
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• General Ledger (GL)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Cash Management (CM)
• Purchase Orders (PO)
• Vendor Invoice Processing
• Accrual Accounting
• Strong understanding of Accounting and Finance business processes.
• Experience working directly with Finance stakeholders and business users.
• Ability to prepare functional requirement documents and solution specifications.
• Experience coordinating with Oracle technical development teams.
• Good understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, SQL, Interfaces, Forms, Reports, and Workflow (technical awareness only).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Semiconductor manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Exposure to Oracle Inventory, Purchasing, and Order Management modules is desirable.
• Experience working with global teams and ERP implementations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong Accounting and Finance domain expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Financial modules.
• Excellent communication skills to work with Finance business users.
• The ability to bridge business and technical teams.
• A functional mindset rather than a pure Oracle technical development background.

Pay: RM50.00 - RM65.00 per hour

Experience:

• Finance Functional Consultant or Business Systems Analys: 5 years (Required)
• Strong Accounting and Finance: 1 year (Required)
