Job Description

Responsibilities

1) Global Engagement and Opportunity Development
Support the development and implementation of global engagement strategies and initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with international institutions, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
Identify and manage global partnership opportunities, providing regular progress updates.
Support international student recruitment, pathway partnerships, student mobility, market development, and institutional collaborations.
Conduct market research and analyse trends to identify new opportunities and strategic partnerships.

2) Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with international partners and key stakeholders.
Coordinate stakeholder meetings, visits, communications, and follow-up activities.
Prepare proposals, presentations, briefing papers, and engagement materials.
Represent the University at meetings, events, and partnership activities.
Collaborate with Faculties and internal teams to deliver coordinated global engagement initiatives aligned with recruitment and institutional priorities.

3) Collaboration Governance and Implementation
Coordinate the development, implementation, and renewal of international partnership agreements.
Assess collaboration opportunities for strategic alignment, feasibility, compliance, and risk.
Maintain accurate records of agreements, key contacts, and implementation milestones.
Monitor partnership performance and recommend improvements, renewals, or closures.
Support implementation plans to ensure partnerships achieve measurable outcomes.

4) Planning, Reporting and Performance Monitoring
Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and records to track global engagement activities and outcomes.
Prepare reports, briefings, and updates for senior management and relevant committees.
Analyse performance data and recommend improvements to strategies, processes, and resource allocation.
Support annual planning, target-setting, and budget development.
Monitor expenditure and ensure accurate financial reporting and accountability.

5) Leadership and Staff Management
Provide guidance and support to staff involved in global engagement activities.
Assist with performance planning, KPI development, and professional development.
Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

6) Process Improvement and Compliance
Develop and improve processes for global engagement, stakeholder management, and partnership coordination.
Ensure activities comply with University policies, procedures, financial requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Maintain professional and accurate communications and engagement materials.
Identify process improvements, mitigate risks, and implement practical solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 3–5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Master’s degree holders in relevant fields may be considered.
Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and managing relationships with institutions, government agencies, industry partners, or education representatives.
Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement strategic opportunities and collaborations.
Strong experience in preparing proposals, reports, presentations, agreements, and professional documentation.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
Strong stakeholder management, project coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential matters.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, and work outside normal hours when required.
Good understanding of the Malaysian and global higher education sector, including international student recruitment, transnational education, and institutional partnerships.
Working proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, Arabic or another language relevant to the University’s priority markets is an added advantage.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
