A fast-growing company is looking an Assistant Procurement Manager to support the procurement operations and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery and service.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing and prepare purchase recommendations.
• Coordinate procurement activities to support project timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and purchase documentation.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and new sourcing channels.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience.
• Experience in Furniture, Interior Design, Building Materials, or Project Procurement will be an added advantage.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement systems.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
