About the Role
We are seeking a Paraplanner to join our team, providing a blend of paraplanning and administrative support to help our financial advice business deliver exceptional outcomes for clients. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is detail-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable balancing technical financial planning work with day-to-day business administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Statements of Advice (SoAs), Records of Advice (RoAs), and other advice documentation.
- Conduct research and analysis on investment, superannuation, insurance, and retirement strategies using Plutosoft and Omnium.
- Assist with strategy development and modelling to support client recommendations.
- Liaise with product providers and platforms to gather information required for advice preparation.
- Ensure all advice documentation meets compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Review and quality-check advice documents prior to adviser sign-off.
- Manage client files and records using a combination of Plutosoft and Google Workspace, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare, send, and track documents for electronic signature via Adobe Sign.
- Coordinate with clients, product providers, and third parties to progress applications and requests
- Support the implementation of advice, including processing applications and following up outstanding items
- Maintain compliance registers and ensure documentation is filed correctly.
- Assist with general practice administration, correspondence, and diary/workflow management as needed.
- Completion of AML requirements.
About You
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a paraplanning role within financial advice.
- Demonstrated experience using Plutosoft.
- Proficient with Adobe products, including Adobe Sign and PDF editor.
- Strong understanding of financial planning strategies, superannuation, investments, and insurance
- Excellent written communication skills, with high attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of relevant compliance and regulatory requirements in financial advice.
- Confident working independently, demonstrates initiative and fast learner.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to admin and technical tasks alike
