We are hiring a Purchasing / Procurement Executive (Mandarin Speaker) to join a manufacturing company that is expanding its operations in Sarawak.

Location: Sarawak (Work From Home initially)

Contract: 12 Months (Renewable)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Split Shift)

Salary: Up to RM6,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers on orders, pricing, quotations, and deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and support material planning activities.
• Source, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.
• Follow up on purchase orders (PO) and delivery schedules.
• Support BOM (Bill of Materials) replenishment planning and inventory control.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, logistics partners, and suppliers to support manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Material Planning, or related functions.
• Mandarin proficiency is preferred to support communication with suppliers.
• Experience in manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor, industrial, engineering, solar, or related industries is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (BOM,SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, data analysis).
• Strong negotiation, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
