What will I be doing? Position Summary (bullet points)

As the Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Respond to enquiries for functions (by telephone and walk-in guest).
• Assess the physical requirements of the proposed function (no. of person, time, and type of function) and reserve an appropriate venue for the client in the banquet reservation system.
• Discuss with managers on clients requirement details pertaining to an event: menu, beverage, budget, and miscellaneous arrangements.
• Prepare proposal letter based on the clients’ requirements, ensures 8 hours response time or not more than 24 hours based on the department SOP.
• Follow up with clients on proposals and finalize all the arrangements.
• Complete the relevant Hilton University courses promptly and pass the tests.
• Maintain an efficient filing, tracing and correspondence system for the division.
• Ensure that all incoming correspondence is replied within 24 hours and properly put on trace or file.
• Handle the coordination of follow-up actions by Sales & Marketing team members or other departments with relations to Sales.
• Prepare and send out quotations or contracts to travel agents and tour operators or related personnel.

Education:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Sales: 1 year (Required)
