Position Summary

This contractual role is for one our subsidiaries in Malaysia, Senai Johor.

We are seeking a responsible and experienced IT Engineer to support the

development, maintenance and enhancement of web applications and digital systems for

business operations and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

· Develop, maintain and enhance web applications using Next.js, React.js and Node.js

· Design, develop and support backend services, APIs and system integration with

internal and external systems.

· Deploy and manage applications using AWS cloud environment and Serverless Framework.

· Develop and implement AI-enabled features and automation functions within web applications.

· Support development of AI-based solutions such as chatbots, workflow automation, document processing and data analysis tools.

· Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate into technical solutions.

· Support business analytics initiatives through system development, reporting and data-driven applications.

· Design, maintain and optimise MySQL database structures for performance and reliability.

· Integrate and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions including Power Apps and Power Automate.

· Manage source code versioning, branching and deployment processes using GitHub.

· Perform system troubleshooting, debugging and resolution of application issues.

· Ensure application performance, system stability and security compliance.

· Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system design and deployment records.

· Participate in project discussion, system enhancement and code review activities.

· Support continuous improvement activities and recommend suitable technology solutions.

· Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

· Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related discipline.

· Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Full Stack Development.

· Strong hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Services, Serverless Framework, Microsoft Power Platform, GitHub, Next.js, React.js, Node.js, and MySQL.

· Experience in development and deployment of web-based applications.

· Familiar with RESTful API development, system integration and cloud deployment.

· Experience with CI/CD processes, version control and deployment workflow.

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Able to work independently and in a team environment.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

· Experience in integration of AI services or automation features into applications is an advantage.

· Knowledge in business analytics, reporting tools or dashboard development is an advantage.

· Experience in application development for manufacturing companies.

· Experience in application maintenance for MES and ERP.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
