JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of Equipment Engineer/Manager, the Equipment Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance to the production line he/she is assigned to. Responsibilities include production line setup, machine down time improvement, support day-to-day manufacturing activities and tooling/jig/fixture repair and maintenance, SMT and Wave Machine trouble- shooting, repair and maintenance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORIZATION LEVEL

• Perform SMT and Wave machine setup for Production Lines.
• Perform SMT and Wave machine trouble-shooting and repair.
• Production Line setup and tooling/jig repair and maintenance.
• Provide engineering solution to manufacturing issues.
• Machine down time Improvement or Cycle Time improvement, scrap reduction and 5S improvement.
• Be the team PLAYER to process and production team.
• Attending production meeting to address equipment issues to support production OTD.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• DIPLOMA in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

JOB-RELATED SKILLS

• Experience with PCBA Industry, as well as knowledge in SMT or Wave Soldering repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge in Auto Inserting Machine, Coating and Potting Machine Repair and

Maintenance will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
