The position will support the team in delivering business performance insights through data collection, report preparation, and the use of business intelligence tools. The role will assist in developing visual dashboards, support budgeting and costing processes, and contribute to procurement, financial reporting, and risk monitoring activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and deployment of data-driven solutions and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to enhance strategic planning, performance monitoring, and decision-making.
• Work closely with Management Units to collect and validate data, ensuring accurate costing and financial feasibility assessments for new and existing projects, courses, or activities, as well as providing input into the evaluation of viable new directions.
• Apply BI tools and technology to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of reports used to monitor and support the implementation of the University-wide Campus Plan and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Management Units to collect, validate, and analyze data for accurate project costing and financial feasibility assessments.
• Leverage BI technologies to produce timely, accurate, and reliable financial and operational reports.
• Assist in budget planning by gathering and analyzing data to support financial forecasts and projections.
• Prepare procurement reports, financial dashboards, and variance analyses to aid management reviews.
• Monitor budget utilization and spending patterns, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
• Ensure all financial documentation and records comply with audit standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with departments to clarify requirements, coordinate project activities, and track progress efficiently.
• Maintain and improve reporting templates, process documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Engage proactively with stakeholders to anticipate needs and provide practical, data-driven solutions.
• Promote continuous process improvement, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and ensure timely, high-quality service

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computing, Information Technology, or a related field; or a professional qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Diploma holders with at least three (3) years of relevant experience in data analytics are encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates with a relevant Bachelor’s degree are also welcome to apply.
• Additional qualifications in Accounting or a business-related field will be an added advantage.
• Strong proficiency in BI and technology tools such as Power BI, Tableau, UiPath, Python, or equivalent platforms is highly desirable.
• Self-starter, resourceful, thorough and detail-oriented in obtaining and producing financial information.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities, plan work and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
