Hiring – Senior Procurement Executive

Company Background - Our company is a well-established and trusted manufacturer specializing in naturally brewed soy sauce, bean paste, and a wide range of quality sauces and condiments. With a strong reputation in both local and international markets, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Development professional to join our growing team.

Location: Bidor, Perak

Position: Senior Procurement Executive

Salary: RM3,500 – RM4,500 (depending on experience)

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday (5 working days)
• Flexible working hours: (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, or 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM)

Benefits:

• Hostel provided for outstation candidates.
• If the hostel is fully occupied, rental reimbursement of up to RM300 per month is provided.
• OT is applicable for employees earning RM4,000 and below

Job Responsibilities

• Source new raw materials and packaging materials (RMPM) to support supply chain requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and manage supplier relationships.
• Prepare procurement budgets and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Monitor inventory levels and prepare monthly material forecast planning.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Analyze stock movements to support purchasing decisions.
• Evaluate supplier performance (OTIF & Quality).
• Handle documentation for import licenses, tax exemptions, and government-related procurement incentives.
• Train and supervise Purchasing Assistants.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Logistics, Planning, and QA departments.
• Conduct supplier audits and vendor evaluations.
• Work with suppliers on continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of recent procurement experience.

Candidates whose procurement experience is not in their current or most recent role will not be considered

Experience in:

• Direct & Indirect Purchasing
• Local & overseas supplier management
• Price negotiation

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Willing to work in Bidor, Perak
