Job Overview: As an Electrician at JYC Battery Sdn. Bhd., you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within the battery manufacturing facility. This role ensures production machines operate safely and efficiently in compliance with Malaysian regulations and company safety standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical faults in manufacturing equipment, control panels, and automation systems. Diagnose breakdowns and carry out immediate repair to minimize downtime. Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, motors, relays, sensors, and control components. 2. Installation & Improvement Works Install new electrical systems, panels, machines, and equipment. Modify wiring and control systems for process improvement. Support equipment upgrading and automation projects. Ensure all electrical installations comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) requirements. 3. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with Malaysian Electrical Regulations and OSHA requirements. Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures during maintenance. Conduct regular inspection of electrical systems to prevent hazards. Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities. Comply with ISO standards, 5S practices, and company procedures. 4. Support Production Provide technical support during production line breakdowns. Standby during shift operation when required. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
