Monitoring & Compliance: Oversee all site activities to ensure adherence to company, client, and government safety standards (like OSHA/BOWEC in Malaysia). Inspections & Rectification: Regularly inspect the site for unsafe conditions and practices, taking immediate action to correct them. Training & Inductions: Conduct safety inductions for new workers and staff. Safety Meetings: Lead daily toolbox talks and regular site safety meetings. Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols. Subcontractor Oversight: Check subcontractor work for compliance and liaise with their safety supervisors. Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports and present performance. Emergency Preparedness: Coordinate emergency responses and ensure protocols are in place.
