About the role

SPRING POWER SDN BHD is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis in Bintulu, Sarawak. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across a variety of projects and facilities. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical installations, contributing directly to the success and safety standards of our operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern electrical systems and contribute to the growth of a dynamic organisation in the Trades & Services sector.

What you'll be doing
1. Installing, testing, and commissioning electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards

1. Diagnosing electrical problems and performing repairs and maintenance on electrical systems and components

2. Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematic diagrams, and technical specifications

3. Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical installations to ensure safety and compliance

4. Identifying electrical hazards and implementing safety measures to protect personnel and assets

5. Troubleshooting electrical faults and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner

6. Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on projects

7. Collaborating with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on schedule

8. Adhering to all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

1. A valid electrical license or qualification recognised in Malaysia, demonstrating competency in electrical work

2. Proven experience as an Electrician, with a strong track record of delivering quality electrical installations and repairs

3. Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, components, and relevant safety standards and regulations

4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation

5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues

6. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards

7. Physical fitness and the ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces where required

8. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues

9. Reliability and punctuality, with a professional approach to work

10. Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems would be advantageous
