We are now seeking a dedicated QA/QC Engineer to support our major project at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Position Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive QA/QC Engineer to ensure that the marine and civil engineering works at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah comply with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections, and coordinating with project teams to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection test plans (ITPs).

· Conduct inspections and tests of construction works, materials, and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

· Monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality requirements.

· Review method statements, technical submittals, and material approvals.

· Maintain accurate QA/QC records, reports, and documentation for audits and project handover.

· Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants and client representatives on quality-related matters.

· Identify non-conformances, raise NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

· Promote a strong quality and safety culture across the project site.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management or related field.

· Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in marine related project.

· Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, ISO 9001 and relevant industry codes.

· Experience in preparing QA/QC documentation, inspection test plans and quality reports.

· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Willing to be based at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Pay: From RM4,500.00 per month
