Role Description The Associate Analyst role is a full-time, on-site position based in Seremban. The individual in this role will support data collection, validation, and analysis to provide insights for operations, finance, and other business functions. Typical responsibilities include preparing reports and dashboards, monitoring key performance indicators, and identifying trends or process gaps that may impact efficiency or quality. The Associate Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data, support decision-making, and document findings and recommendations. This role also involves maintaining data accuracy, assisting with system or process improvements, and ensuring timely delivery of analytics tasks and project support.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and present clear insights.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel, reporting/BI tools, databases) and comfort working with large data sets.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise reports and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in Seremban, contribute to cross-functional teamwork, and build positive working relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or safety-related industries is an advantage.
- Familiarity with basic project coordination, process improvement concepts, or quality management practices is beneficial.
