Job Description
A. State-Level Operational Oversight
- Oversee the daily operational flow across all outlets in the state to ensure smooth store functions.
- Monitor key operational indicators such as transaction speed, stock movement, service turnaround time, and complaint resolution rate. - Ensure consistent implementation of SOPs across all outlets in the state.
- Identify gaps in processes and recommend improvements to enhance customer experience and operational productivity.
B. Process Improvement & Efficiency Projects
- Analyse workflow and operational processes to identify areas for efficiency gains.
- Implement state-level initiatives to reduce wastage, improve resource allocation, and streamline staff tasks.
- Collaborate with HQ support teams (Logistics, Procurement, People Management, Marketing) to ensure timely support for outlets.
- Lead special operational projects such as technology rollouts, new SOP trials, and system upgrades.
C. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
- Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure proper stock replenishment across all outlets.
- Work with Area Managers and Logistics to minimise stock discrepancies, expiries, and stock-outs.
- Optimise delivery schedules and stock transfer arrangements to avoid operational delays.
D. Staff Support & Training
- Support Area Managers in guiding outlet teams on operational best practices.
- Provide on-the-job training for branch managers and supervisors on workflow optimisation.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing among outlets to replicate high-performing store practices.
E. Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Conduct operational audits to ensure outlets meet internal and regulatory standards.
- Address non-compliance issues immediately and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure all safety, security, and hygiene standards are consistently met across outlets.
F. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Area Managers to address operational challenges and implement improvement plans.
- Coordinate with other state-level managers to align operations with sales, marketing, and customer service strategies.
- Act as the key contact point for HQ operations in resolving outlet-level issues.
G. Reporting & Data Analysis
- Prepare monthly state operational performance reports highlighting trends, challenges, and improvement measures.
- Use operational data analytics to inform decision-making and track improvement outcomes.
- Present operational insights to state and national management teams.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superior, including involvement in new events, initiatives, or projects in line with the company’s direction.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. Background in retail pharmacy operations is an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in retail operations, with at least 2 years in a multi-outlet management or operational improvement role.
- Language: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
- IT: Microsoft Office Suite, POS systems, operational analytics tools.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
