Ensures the efficient administration of campus resources, promotes collaboration between academic and administrative departments, and drives strategic initiatives to improve campus performance and growth. The role also encompasses overseeing management of corporate staff and addressing student welfare, with a focus on creating a positive and enriching experience for students.
Job responsibilities:
Managing the Operations of Clinical Campuses
- Oversee day-to-day operations at Clinical Campuses in Seremban, Kuala Pilah, Batu Pahat, and Kluang, ensuring a safe and conducive working and learning environment.
- Supervise and oversee the comprehensive management of campus facilities and administration, including classrooms, laboratories, libraries, student areas, cafeterias, parking, and office spaces, ensuring all areas function efficiently and meet the needs of both staff and students.
- Implement and oversee development projects, renovations, and improvements at the Clinical Campus.
- Manage service contracts, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades to ensure smooth operations.
Managing Corporate Staff of Clinical Campuses
- Oversee the operations of key departments such as Student Services, Academic Services, ITS, E-Learning, and the Library across all Clinical Campuses.
- Enhance collaboration between students, faculty, and corporate staff, fostering a supportive campus environment.
Student Welfare and Development
- Lead the Student Crisis Response Team (SCRT), addressing student welfare concerns and implementing crisis management protocols.
- Handle specific student welfare enquiries, ensuring they are supported throughout their academic journey at Clinical Campus.
Managing IMU Cares at Clinical Campuses
- Coordinate and oversee the IMU Cares Programme in Seremban, Batu Pahat, and Kluang, ensuring alignment with the program’s objectives.
- Manage the budget for the IMU Cares initiatives at Clinical Campuses, ensuring effective use of resources.
Operational and Financial Management
- Develop and manage the OPEX & CAPEX of clinical campuses budget, ensuring financial efficiency in all operations and projects.
- Implement strategies to reduce operational costs while maintaining high-quality services and facilities.
Liaising with Government Bodies and External Stakeholders
- Act as the main point of contact for governmental bodies and local regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Foster relationships with external stakeholders to support campus operations, development, and community outreach initiatives.
Strategic Planning & Development
- Plan and implement long-term strategies for the growth and development of Clinical Campuses.
- Align campus initiatives with the institution’s goals, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Strategic Liaison for Clinical Partnerships Teaching Facilities and Maintenance
- Liaise with all teaching hospitals and Klinik Kesihatan to ensure IMU facilities within clinical campuses are well-maintained and meet the necessary operational standards.
- Ensure timely communication and collaboration with external healthcare institutions to address any maintenance or facility-related requirements for clinical training.
