Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety and security policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with industry best practices and legal requirements
• Oversee daily security operations, including access control, surveillance systems, and incident response procedures
• Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend preventative measures
• Manage and supervise security personnel, providing training, performance management, and professional development opportunities
• Investigate security incidents, accidents, and breaches, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, fire safety regulations, and emergency response protocols
• Maintain detailed records and reports on security incidents, audits, and compliance activities
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to coordinate security and emergency response efforts
• Conduct safety training and awareness programs for all staff members
• Manage security equipment, systems, and technology, ensuring optimal functionality and maintenance

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in security management or a related field, ideally within the hospitality or service industry
• Proven experience managing security personnel and leading teams in a supervisory or managerial capacity
• Strong knowledge of security systems, surveillance technology, access control, and alarm systems
• Comprehensive understanding of occupational health and safety legislation and fire safety regulations
• Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments and develop effective security strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels and external stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgement in responding to security incidents and emergencies
• Proficiency in incident reporting and documentation
• Physical fitness and ability to respond to emergency situations
• Relevant security or safety certifications (such as Certified Security Professional or equivalent) are highly desirable

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
