Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
• Assist the senior kitchen staff in menu planning and food preparation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your designated station and kitchen areas
• Ensure all food handling and preparation meets health and safety regulations and company standards
• Monitor food quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed to maintain excellence
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods
• Prepare ingredients including chopping, measuring, and marinating as required
• Assist in stock management and inventory control within the kitchen
• Support the development of new dishes and contribute creative ideas to the menu
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff when required

What we're looking for

• Formal culinary training or recognized qualification in food preparation and cooking
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience working in a professional kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and kitchen regulations
• Proficiency in various cooking techniques and ability to follow recipes precisely
• Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to consistency and quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
