Foot Locker is looking for a Merchandiser to join our Global Sourcing team, playing a key role in the cost-effective development of our private label women’s apparel products by managing vendor partnerships, sample coordination, and product development activities from concept through to production and cost control.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Coordinate product development activities and sample submissions (Colour, Trim and Fabric), working closely with global vendor partners to ensure product requirements, approvals, and development timelines are met.

• Partner with global vendors and the U.S. Product Creation team throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure alignment on product specifications, approvals, and key milestones.

• Prepare, track, and ship product development samples, materials, and submissions for review and feedback, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up.

• Maintain accurate product development records, data entry, tracking reports, and costing documentation to support the development process.

• Monitor development progress, manage outstanding approvals, and proactively identify, communicate, and resolve potential risks or delays.

• Support costing activities, collaborate and negotiate with vendor partners to achieve competitive pricing for private label products.

• Provide operational support to the Merchandise Manager and contribute to cross-functional projects and business initiatives as required.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in the garment, apparel, or textile industry, with proven product development experience.

• Qualification in Clothing Studies, Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.

• Experience working within a multinational environment and collaborating with global stakeholders is highly regarded.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and global teams.

• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.

• A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues and drive solutions.
