About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Executive to assist in managing the Company's payroll operations while supporting the implementation of a new Human Resource Management System (HRMS). This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who enjoys ensuring payroll accuracy and is keen to gain hands-on exposure to HRMS implementation and payroll system testing.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Operations
- Process end-to-end monthly payroll accurately and within established timelines.
- Administer payroll transactions, including new hires, resignations, salary revisions, allowances, overtime, unpaid leave, statutory deductions and final salary payments.
- Ensure compliance with all Malaysian statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee master data.
- Assist in preparing payroll reports, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
HRMS Implementation Support
- Support payroll-related activities during the migration to a new HRMS.
- Validate and reconcile employee and payroll data to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and payroll testing based on predefined test scenarios.
- Compare payroll results between the existing and new HRMS, investigate discrepancies and work with the project team to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll administration.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian payroll legislation and statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB.
- Hands-on experience using payroll or HRMS systems.
- Experience using HR2000 payroll software will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to HRMS implementation, payroll system upgrades or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) will be an added advantage, but is not essential.
- Candidates who are immediately available or able to commence work within one month will have an added advantage.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
