The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development, planning, and execution of comprehensive 360 marketing strategies that drive brand growth, customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue. This role oversees digital marketing, social media, brand communications, offline activations, CRM, product marketing, content direction, partnerships, and budget management, ensuring all marketing efforts are cohesive and aligned with company objectives.
The Marketing Manager serves as the strategic bridge between marketing, commercial teams, retail, and management.
Strategic Marketing Planning & Leadership
- Develop annual & quarterly marketing strategies, roadmaps, and campaign calendars based on business goals.
- Lead integrated brand and performance-driven initiatives that support revenue, customer growth, and retention.
- Translate business objectives into clear marketing strategies across all channels.
- Identify new market opportunities, emerging consumer trends, and competitive advantages.
- Lead team meetings, campaign reviews, and marketing alignment discussions.
Campaign Leadership (Online + Offline)
- Oversee full 360 campaign lifecycle including ideation, planning, execution, optimisation, and post-mortem.
- Ensure campaigns are consistent across digital ads, social media, CRM, website, in-store branding, offline activation, and PR.
- Provide direction for creative concepts, messaging frameworks, and storytelling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment during rollouts.
Digital Marketing & Social Media Oversight
- Oversee digital efforts including paid media (Meta, TikTok, Google), content marketing, SEO support, and landing page optimisation.
- Guide the social media direction: content pillars, brand voice, posting cadence, and audience growth.
- Review performance reports and work with the team/agency to optimise digital channels.
- Ensure synergy between organic and paid digital channels.
Brand Management & Creative Direction
- Strengthen and maintain brand positioning across all communication touchpoints.
- Develop brand guidelines, creative standards, and messaging frameworks.
- Lead brand-building initiatives including storytelling campaigns, PR angles, and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure cohesive brand experience in both online and offline environments.
Offline Activation, Retail Marketing & Event Leadership
- Plan and supervise roadshows, mall activations, brand experiences, product launches, and partnership events.
- Work with retail/hub teams to grow footfall, improve in-store experience, and enhance brand visibility.
- Oversee event timelines, vendor coordination, budgeting, and evaluation reports.
- Ensure offline initiatives integrate with digital marketing funnels.
CRM, Loyalty & Customer Journey Management
- Oversee CRM strategy: EDMs, SMS, WhatsApp automation, lifecycle flows, retention workflows.
- Guide segmentation strategies and customer journey mapping.
- Strengthen loyalty programme communication and engagement.
- Ensure customer experience across channels is consistent and brand-aligned.
Product Marketing & Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy
Collaborate with product teams on positioning, messaging, and selling points.
Develop GTM plans for new product launches, bundles, or seasonal collections.
Support R&D with market insights and consumer feedback loops.
Prepare internal launch decks, sales enablement materials, and training.
Team Leadership, Mentorship & Talent Development
- Manage, coach, and grow the marketing team, building cross-functional strengths. Provide clear guidance on priorities, expectations, and performance improvement.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, reviews, and team training sessions.
- Recruit talent, manage freelancers, and supervise external agencies.
Budget Planning & Cost Management
- Plan, allocate, and manage the annual and monthly marketing budget.
- Review spending efficiency, negotiate vendor costs, and optimise resource allocation.
- Ensure campaigns stay within approved budgets with proper documentation.
Market Research, Insights & Reporting
- Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and consumer behaviour insights.
- Conduct post-campaign analysis and derive actionable improvements.
- Provide monthly marketing performance updates to senior management.
- Keep marketing strategy agile through data-driven decisions.
Stakeholder, Vendor & Agency Management
- Manage relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, freelancers, and production teams.
- Ensure agencies and partners deliver work that meets brand standards and campaign goals.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Retail Operations, E-commerce, Customer Support, and Product teams.
Process Optimisation & Operational Excellence
- Build and refine SOPs for campaign planning, content creation, workflow management, and approvals.
- Improve internal collaboration frameworks and project management systems.
- Ensure efficient communication, faster turnaround times, and higher-quality execution.
