Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and plant facilities to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and servicing of electrical equipment such as motors, switchboards, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, lighting systems, and related components.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, modification, and relocation of machinery and electrical equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and identify potential electrical issues before they lead to equipment failure.
• Record maintenance activities, equipment breakdowns, and repair work accurately in maintenance reports.
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with company safety procedures, electrical regulations, and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping of the workshop, electrical rooms, and maintenance work areas.
• Collaborate with the Production and Engineering teams to ensure maintenance activities are completed efficiently and safely.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Engineer or immediate superior.

Requirements:

• Certificate, Diploma, or Technical/Vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motors, electrical control systems, and industrial electrical equipment.
• Able to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and emergency breakdowns when required.
• Possession of a Chargeman or Wireman certificate is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
