Job description
Lead, supervise and motivate the Customer Service team to achieve departmental objectives.
Ensure customer orders are processed accurately, acknowledged promptly and delivered on time.
Coordinate closely with Sales, Warehouse, Supply Chain and Purchasing teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
Plan and monitor delivery schedules to meet customers' expectations.
Liaise with transporters and freight forwarders to ensure timely deliveries and resolve logistics issues.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints and service issues professionally with timely resolution.
Monitor order processing, documentation accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
Build strong relationships with customers through responsive and professional service.
Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and operational efficiency.
Support internal sales activities and cross-functional projects whenever required.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Services or related discipline.
Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in Customer Service, Order Management or Internal Sales within a B2B distribution environment.
At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Experience in chemical, specialty ingredients, pharmaceutical, food ingredients, industrial products or FMCG distribution will be an added advantage.
Experience coordinating with Warehouse, Logistics and Supply Chain teams.
Good understanding of Customer Service Operations, Order Management, Inventory and Warehouse coordination, Delivery planning and logistics.
Experience using ERP systems and excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
