JOB FUNCTION : QUANTITY SURVEYOR

JOB REQUIREMENT:

1. BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN QUANTITY SURVEYING, CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT.
2. 5 YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN SENIOR-LEVEL CONTRACT MANAGEMENT, COMMERCIAL ADMINISTRATION & CLAIMS MANAGEMENT (PREFER IN ROAD MAINTENANCE HIGHWAY/INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT.
3. STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF STANDARD FORMS OF CONTRACT (JKR/PWD, FIDIC & OTHE GOVERNMENT CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS).
4. REGISTRATION WITH BOARD OF QUANTITY SURVEYORS MALAYSIA (BQSM) OR MEMBERSHIP WITH THE ROYAL INSTITUTION OF SURVEYORS MALAYSIA (RISM).
5. APPLICATION CLOSING DATE : 13 JULY 2026 (MONDAY).

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

1. Manage all contractual and commercial matters related to road maintenance and rehabilitation projects.

2. Review, draft, and administer contracts, including variation orders, EOT applications, claims, and dispute resolution processes.

3. Identify and mitigate contractual risks while ensuring compliance with contract terms, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

4. Lead negotiations and finalize settlements for claims, variations, and final accounts with clients, contractors, and consultants.

5. Provide contractual advice and guidance to project teams and prepare commercial reports and recommendations for management decision-making.
