Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate grinding machines (surface, cylindrical, or centerless grinding machines).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Select appropriate grinding wheels, tools, and machine parameters.
• Measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and dial gauges.
• Ensure products meet quality specifications and tolerances.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any machine faults.
• Replace and dress grinding wheels when necessary.
• Monitor production output and minimize material waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the work area (5S).
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist in continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and quality.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating grinding machines (fresh graduates may be considered if training is provided).
• Knowledge of grinding processes and machine setup.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.

Pay: From RM2,200.00 per month
