Web Developer - WordPress Engineer (Freelance / Contract/ Permanent)

We are looking for a versatile freelance Web Developer and CMS Engineer to handle front-end execution, full site modernisation and responsive web design across various client environments.

Responsibilities:

- Build, design, develop, migrate and maintain responsive websites across multiple CMSes (WordPress is a must).

- Ensure responsive layout design across different devices and browsers.

- Maintain third-party plug-ins and extensions, and securely deprecate legacy components.

- Apply web optimisation methodologies and configure search engine optimisation (SEO).

Required Skills and Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of professional web development experience with a proven portfolio.

- At least 1 year of experience in WordPress core architecture with broad knowledge of alternative frameworks such as Joomla, Drupal or Magento.

- At least 1 year of experience in web application programming languages such as HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, API, JavaScript/jQuery and PHP.

- At least 1 year of experience with modern responsive web building tools, such as Elementor Pro.

- Deep understanding of responsive design principles with great attention to design details.

- At least 1 year direct client management experience, and medium-scale project management and handling background

- Independent and self-driven, with good communication and collaboration skills.

Project/Contract work is also available.

Pay: $2,100.00 - $3,700.00 per month
