The Zenith Hotel Hiring! Full Time Maintenance Manager in Pahang, Earn up to MYR 5,500 - Ricebowl

The Maintenance Manager shall be responsible for assisting the Hotel Manager in all matters in lead maintenance team to the planning, and execution of maintenance operations. This includes ensuring the effective maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the hotel's buildings, facilities, equipment, and systems to provide a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for guests and employees while protecting the hotel's assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for the hotel's buildings, facilities, equipment, and engineering systems.
• Ensure all mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, and other critical systems are operating efficiently and are regularly inspected and maintained.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain maintenance standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all hotel facilities and equipment.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA 1994, the Fire Services Act, relevant building regulations, and all applicable health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Manage the Engineering and Maintenance team by overseeing staff training, work scheduling, performance, and continuous skills development.
• Conduct routine inspections, condition assessments, and maintenance audits to identify defects, minimize equipment downtime, and maintain the hotel's physical assets.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers to ensure maintenance works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with hotel standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance or engineering management role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, and other hotel engineering systems.
• Thorough understanding of relevant building regulations, OSHA 1994, the Fire Services Act, and applicable health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with guests, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to maintenance and asset management.
• Strong planning, budgeting, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance activities while minimizing operational disruption.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
