1.4 (a) Responsible for day to day operations of boiler and its ancillary equipment.

1.4 (b) Ensure boiler equipment are at optimum operating condition operate in a safely manner.

1.4 (c) Minimize steam supply interruption to production floor.

1.4 (d) Report immediately to superior in the event of machine failure or breakdown.

1.4 (e) To do daily report on daily task done.

1.4 (f) Communicate within team members and superior to find solution for continuous improvement

1.4 (g) Conduct 1st level trouble shooting when boiler and its auxiliary equipment breakdown.

1.4 (h) Follow instruction given by Immediate Superior / Management.

1.4 (i) Identify and implement alternative measures within the SOP to overcome unexpected breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted production operations.

1.4 (j) Preventive maintenance carried out as per schedule / planned

1.4 (k) All reports written must be clear and understandable.

1.4 (l) Maintain good health and food safety practice.

1.4 (i) Perform routine cleaning and maintenance activities and update data in the logbook.

1.4(m) Ensure safety and health procedures are adhered to at all times.

1.4(h) Recommend or implement measures to motivate other staff and improve methods, equipment performance, product quality and/or efficiency.

1.5 Competency

· 1.5 (a) Education : Minimum Professional Certificate of Boilerman Grade I or II and registered with Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kementerian Pekerjaan Malaysia.

· Minimum 2 years working experience in related field.

1.5 (b) Skill : Electrical and Mechanical

1.5 (c) Training : On job training with minimum supervision
