Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Kuching. The Sales Manager will lead and supervise the sales team, set targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key customer accounts, conducting market analysis, and identifying new business opportunities. The role involves preparing sales reports, coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations, and handling customer inquiries and issues in a professional manner. The Sales Manager will also participate in promotional activities, maintain strong relationships with clients, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the automotive industry, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Solid skills in team leadership, performance coaching, and staff development.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills, including negotiation, presentation, and after-sales support.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, prepare sales forecasts, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English; additional local languages are an advantage.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable using basic office software and sales reporting tools; familiarity with CRM systems is beneficial.
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Kuching and to engage directly with customers and partners.
