Responsibilities
- Carry out tests in the laboratory as per the SOPs available and help to send reports to Lab Supervisor.
- Plan tests to be carried out and assist the Lab Supervisor and Chemists in ensuring that the work of the laboratory proceeds smoothly
- Participate in Proficiency Testing
- Maintain and control the laboratory documentation and housekeeping.
- Perform HSE related job and document control
- Carry out moisture and size testing as per method
- Work within allocated frame
- To report immediately to Laboratory Supervisor of any problem / irregularities
- To maintain good communication with customer.
- To uphold Company’s dignity at all times
- To maintain and good care of documents, records, files, office and assets
- To assist Lab Supervisor / Lab staffs to updating customers.
- To reply to customer enquiries where and when necessary.
- Perform any other related duties that the higher authority may assign from time to time.
- Possess Bachelor’s Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering field or equivalent..
- One year of working experience, but fresh graduate may be considered.
- Experience handling laboratory instruments
- Preferably has exposure /attended training related to laboratory instruments by external training provider.
- Able to work in a team.
