ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Sr QA Automation Engineer Team Lead, you will define and drive quality strategy across the development lifecycle by implementing effective testing and automation practices. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and stakeholders to ensure high standards in reliability, performance, and delivery. You will also mentor QA engineers and continuously improve testing frameworks, processes, and overall quality maturity across teams.

  Monday to Friday: 9:00AM - 6:00PM
• Saturday to Sunday: Off days
• 
  Work Arrangement: (Hybrid) 3 days office at Q Sentral, 2 days WFH
  

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and drive QA strategy and best practices.
• Lead test planning, design, and execution (functional, regression, integration, E2E).
• Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams across multiple squads to ensure quality from requirements to release.
• Manage defects and support resolution with engineering teams.
• Own release readiness assessments and provide quality sign-off for production releases.
• Mentor QA engineers and promote a strong quality culture.
• Continuously improve QA processes, test automation frameworks, and tools.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 
  8-10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with 3+ years in a Lead or Senior QA role overseeing projects or teams.
• 
  Proven experience defining and executing QA strategy across multiple teams or large-scale systems.
• 
  Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium) and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• 
  Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• 
  Experience working with modern Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) in cross-functional environments.
• 
  Demonstrated ability to mentor and scale QA teams, including improving team processes and capabilities.
• 
  Experience with defect management tools and driving root cause analysis and quality improvements.
• 
  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels.
