Job Summary

The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and technical support of healthcare automation systems at customer sites. The role ensures equipment operates safely, reliably, and in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, while delivering excellent customer service to hospitals, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Implementation, Installation & Commissioning

· Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) during new project implementation

· Carry out installation and commissioning of healthcare automation systems at customer sites

· Conduct customer operational training following installation

Preventive Maintenance

· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to maintenance schedules

· Inspect mechanical, electrical, and electronic components for wear or abnormalities during Quarterly Preventive Maintenance (QPM)

Customer Support

· Respond to service requests within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)

· Provide onsite and remote technical support

· Explain technical issues clearly to customers

· Build strong customer relationships through professional service delivery

Documentation

· Complete service reports accurately after each service visit

· Maintain proper records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities

Education & Experience

· Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering

· 1–3 years of field service experience preferred.

· Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

· Experience servicing automation systems, medical devices, or industrial equipment is an advantage.

Technical Skills

· Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

· Able to read electrical schematic drawings (advantageous)

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,300.00 per month
