Production Operator is responsible for assembling product components, performing routine production tasks, and documenting production information . This role involves working with routine work orders, engineering drawings, and written/verbal instructions to build and/or repair assemblies and components .
Key Responsibilities
1. Assembly & Production
- Utilise routine work orders and engineering drawings, written and/or verbal instructions to build and/or repair assemblies and components
- Perform tasks such as Bending, Tacking, Welding, Tweaking, and Leak-Testing
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
2. Quality Control & Inspection
- Utilise test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, and/or leak detectors to test assemblies and components
- Receive parts and perform checks to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform build, test, and repair
- Inspect parts for defects
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality, reporting any issues to the supervisor
- Monitor production processes and adjust equipment settings as needed
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Document production information accurately
- Complete production logs and documentation accurately
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on machines
4. Safety & Housekeeping
- Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment
- Follow operating instructions, use protective equipment when required, and use equipment and materials properly
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
- Adhere to all safety and company policies and procedures
5. Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Work effectively with multi-national and multi-racial teams
Key Requirements
- Minimum completed SPM
- Certificate or Diploma in any field is encouraged to apply
- Certification in welding or any engineering field will be an added advantage
Experience
- Previous experience working in a factory is beneficial
- 1-2 years of experience in welding and parts assembly is an added advantage
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

- Basic math and computer skills
- Good vision and able to see and read engineering drawings
- Positive attitude towards necessary changes required to enhance productivity
- Ability to communicate in both English & Bahasa Malaysia (written & oral)
Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
